In the version of this article initially published, two patents were not included in the last paragraph of the “Polyketide production by native PKS hybrid enzymes in D. discoideum” subsection of Results, now reading “Moreover, the G1516R and D1553L substitutions in the S-adenosylmethionine binding site of the MT domain led to the lack of methylation and production of olivetol (6), as is also claimed by two previous patents on the production of methylolivetol and olivetol by expressing the Dictyostelium wild type and mutated PKSs in Saccharomyces cerevisiae”1,2. The changes have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
